To return to 'How do I change TV/monitor display options?' please click here.
This option will allow you to show the same content on your laptop and your TV.
Important note: You may see issues in some classrooms when trying to duplicate your iiyama monitor and the TV, if this isn't working please duplicate the laptop screen and the TV instead as this works more consistently.
- Make sure your laptop is open, your TV is turned on, and that you have selected the correct HDMI input, then click the Identify button to see which display is which.
- If you see the AGSB logo and a green background on the TV you need to switch the HDMI input.
- Your laptop screen should always be Monitor 1, however your TV may be either Monitor 2 or Monitor 3.
- Once you've determined which monitor number is your TV, select the option Duplicate desktop on 1 and (either 2 or 3). This will set the laptop screen and TV to be duplicated and show the same image on each.
- After you have set this display option, drag the remaining monitor (which should be your iiyama monitor) to either the left or right of the 1|2 screen (which is the duplicated screen you just set):

- If after changing these settings your TV no longer shows anything or is flickering, please continue to this article.
Note: The laptop should remember your settings when using the same USB-C port and are in the same classroom - you will likely need to set this up again for each classroom you teach in.
